It is named after Kristo Magno [KM] and [PH] is the brevity of Philippines. It was started 2006 but officially launched in early 2007.

2. Who/What is Kristo Magno?

It’s an Online Screen Name; it has nothing to do with “Christian thinggy” for one thing but the influenced maybe. Kristo as we all now refers to Christ and Magno was just made up from the word “Monte” from a book called “The Count of Monte Cristo”. One of Jose Rizal’s favorite book and it was the influence model of his series El Filibusterismo and Noli Me Tangere.

In short, Kristo Magno is deriving from the word The Count of Monte Cristo and not the Book itself.
