Undeniable! The motional progress of business process outsourcing company is one of the trending and increasing companies that I.T (and non-IT) people can take advantage of. Here in Cagayan de Oro, there are a large number of outsourcing companies popping out like mushrooms since it really gives lots of advantages.

Aside from the fact that outsourcing and SEO can now be formally learned in Computer Schools (not to mention Informatics here in CDO); it can also provide a large number of employment opportunities to those who desperately need employment. As Wikipedia describes, BPO companies are an emerging industry in the Philippines, particularly in the city of Golden Friendship.

Based on facts, the Philippines along has grown this industry into 46% annually on 2006. This is because the offshore call centers become a demand for some time. BPO has honestly employed people by end of 2008 at 435,000 employment rates. At 2009, this industry increased an 18% growth in headcount! Very progressive, isn’t it?

Do you know that the BPO in the Philippines alone earned between US $11 to 13 billion and to employ 900,000 additional people? That’s a lot of number and figure, isn’t it? And the best part of it is that our government offered fiscal and non-fiscal incentives to attract foreign direct investment in these industries as part of the 2007 Investment Priorities Plan. Aside from CDO, the major places of the Philippines where BPO is being facilitated are Metro Manila, and Cebu. There are also more in Dagupan, Tacloban, Iligan, Dumaguete, Bacolod, Legaspi, Iloilo cities.

Personally, the employment opportunities these BPO companies in CDO have really helped a lot not just to help the city improve and increase in their flow of foreign exchange. The fact that it has provided jobs to various jobless Kagay-anons make their lives improved the more. You don’t compulsorily even need to graduate a four-year degree in order to work in a BPO. As long as you are skilled in English language and gain an excellent computer skills, this job will temporarily—or even permanently—provide you with the basic skills and wants that you really wanted.

This 2010 we are very excited to launch the KMPH Official Logo, finally last August 26 we voted and make it official. The Logo was designed by Ms. Jhunnelyn Nakila in collaboration with Mr. Emmanuel Naelga. We described the logo as social-global theme. The KMPH color combination trend remains because majority of the team feels the same way and it represents each member favorite colors.

Mindanao has many interesting people, attractions, and traditions that have captivated the hearts of the locals and its visitors. Over the course of many years, the big island has kept up with the times and is very much connected to the world through the internet.

The internet has changed the face of Mindanao and has made more people aware of the culture and history of the island. One of the most effective media in promoting Mindanao is blogging.

This year, the bloggers of Mindanao will hold its third blogging summit that allows bloggers from and of Mindanao to convene and uphold the common goal to celebrate and promote Mindanao.

The Mindanao Bloggers Summit 3 has the theme “Mindanao Bag-ohon ang Panan-aw”, which aims to promote the beauty and strength of Mindanao and eradicate the negative perceptions and notions that people from different parts of the world have about the island.

The MBS 3 will be held on October 24, 2009, from 8am to 5pm, at the Pearlmont Inn, Limketkai Drive, Cagayan de Oro City.
